Biography

Me Ahmed Ali Rashid MANDEVILLE, lawyer at the Paris Bar since 1993, is one of the two founders of SAS Macfarlanes LLP, which he helped grow, and of which he is now the President.

His practice, historically dedicated to civil and commercial company law and business law, has been enriched by the various aspects of agricultural law, of which he has become one of the recognized specialists.

He has indeed developed significant experience and expertise in this particular area of law, which allows him to advise and defend (counsel / litigation) a wide range of clients in this sector. He holds a specialization recognized by the Paris Bar.

In addition to his experience in litigation (commercial, civil, corporate, agricultural), he has gradually specialized in advising on agricultural business law (acquisitions, transfers, corporate structures) and agricultural real estate transaction mandates (land, vineyards, agricultural and forestry properties).

He also carries out significant activity in environmental law and renewable energies (agrivoltaics, wind, photovoltaic, methanization), at the intersection of agriculture and the environment.

He has been responsible for the Open Commission on Rural and Agri-Food Law of the Paris Bar since 2000.

He is sought after for his national expertise. He publishes and is regularly interviewed or heard, notably on the occasion of reform projects for French Agriculture.

He has always wished to maintain a teaching activity and in this capacity lectures at the Institute of Higher Studies in Rural Law and Agricultural Economics (IHEDREA) as well as in continuing education for transactions and transfers in the agricultural and wine-growing sector.
