With its roots in the land and agricultural and patrimonial issues, Macfarlanes LLP has gradually increased its reach: expropriation, urban planning, real estate, health, labor law, business law (corporate, M&A;, corporate restructuring), agri-food, inheritance and family, environment and renewable energies, wine and agricultural transactions... its areas of intervention are now those of a national law firm, capable of supporting its institutional, public and private clients in all their issues.
Since 1994, the year of its creation, Macfarlanes LLP, driven by the values that have made it strong – combativeness, pursuit of performance with a constant concern for ethics – has never ceased to conquer new legal markets.
Macfarlanes LLP, originally created in Paris (Lachaud Mandeville Coutadeur & Associés), established itself in Bordeaux in 2019, in Bourges in 2023 (by integrating the firm Terrajuris Avocats), then Cannes, Rouen in 2025 (by integrating the firm Normandie Juris) and finally Libourne and Toulouse in January 2025, positioning itself as the successor to Isabelle GAYE and Hélène OLIER.
These developments, in compliance with common values, lead it to adopt the motto of Jacques Cœur: "A vaillant cœur, rien d’impossible".
